The Giving Hope Cancer Fund is a local organization serving the people of Nemaha County.  Our mission and purpose is to provide monetary assistance to Nemaha County residents for costs incurred during cancer treatments outside of Nemaha County.

Our Beliefs

With the high incidence of diagnosed cancer in Nemaha County it affects us all.  Because Nemaha County is in a rural area, the recommended cancer treatment is often only available in metropolitan areas.  Therefore, we believe that every resident of Nemaha County deserves help with costs during cancer treatment. Our hope to help defray some travel expenses for Nemaha County residents that are traveling to seek treatment.  We are starting off by donating $200 to residents who apply for the donation.  Residents can reapply after 12 months if they are still seeking treatment.
